Parents Receive Bad News As The Ministry Of Education Issues These Latest Directives Over CBC

Parents receive bad news as the ministry of education issues these latest directives over Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). All parents across this country have been raising a number of complains over Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), parents have been claiming that they are overburdened by Competency Based Curriculum education system, whereby parents are required to purchase several books for their children and other learning materials. Also teachers have been complaining over the directives of the Teachers Service Commission to take refresher courses at Sh6000 for each module.

However the parents have received bad news as the ministry of education issues these latest directives over Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). The education officials have asked the parents not to complain and instead assist their children to handle homework. According to the ministry of education, under parental engagement, children learn values such as respect, concern, hardwork, humility and patience which teachers can not teach while at school. This sounds as bad news to the parents because they will be overburdened in helping their children to handle their homework. On the other hand students are now relieved because their parents are now permitted to help them in doing their homework.
