The ministry of education has introduced a new curriculum to cater for the needs of learners in the country. This system has raised opposition from part of the stakeholders. Various leaders including Raila Odinga have spoken about the issue. Deputy President William Ruto who has been pushing the hustler narrative has remained silent on the implementation of the same.
Ruto has been going around the country promoting his bottom up economic model. With this model they have promised jobs to many Kenyans. They will also create a conducive environment for doing business. This will mainly target the small scale traders around the country.
He has never spoken about university graduates who are finding it hard in seeking employment. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economy of the country. His message has been clear about the people in the lowest social class. This is why he is offering enlightenment to the masses about the misdeeds of the rich.
