A Primary School Teacher has been arrested by detectives drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations after he created a fake Facebook Profile purporting to be the Teachers Service Commision.

The teacher, identified as 31 year old Jeremiah Mwavunganga Samuel has been taken into custody after he posted on the Facebook page that the Chief Executive Officer of TSC, Dr. Nancy Macharia, was dead.
The teacher, was found in possession of the smart phone that had been used to create the fake Facebook profile of the Teachers Service Commision and posting that Dr. Nancy Macharia was no more.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations upon receiving the inquest from the victim, started forensic analysis and this is what led to the arrest of the teacher who has been at Musiini Primary School for the last four years.
The suspect is now in police custody pending arraignment in court for the heinous crime of spreading false and malicious information.
