The new education curriculum, competency - based curriculum (CBC) has been giving teachers, parents and students sleepless nights. They have been on their toes trying to figure out how it will be implemented and work at the same time.
The President of Kenya, Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta has given the Ministry of Education, under the hands of Professor George Magoha to monitor and make sure that schools have all the facilities and infrastructure that the students need for effective learning to take place
Magoha has toured Ol Kalou primary school and Nyandarua High school to see how the development of the facilities for the CBC is going. This is following the directive from the President himself, and so teachers and students should have nothing to worry about. Concerning the curriculum's infrastructure and about the space accommodating all the students starting the CBC program.
The government has it all figured out, and we hope that if it will be implemented, it will run smoothly.
