About his education, Hon Moses Kuria attended Githuya primary school in Gatundu and completed his primary school education in 1983. He then went to Ituru Secondary school for his secondary education and did his final exams in 1987. He was admitted to University of Nairobi where he pursued Bachelor degree in Commerce.
About his career journey, while in the University Hon. Moses Kuria was Treasurer of the students organisation of Nairobi (SONU). In 1994, Moses Kuria became an Auditor at Family Finance and Building Society. In 1995, he worked at Standard Chartered Bank as the Head of Business Process. In 1999, he became the Manager of Business Process re-engineering at Rajhi Bank in Saudi Arabia. In 2007, Moses Kuria worked at Wamad Information Services in Dubai as a Chief Operating Officer and later joined politics of Kenya. In 2007, Moses Kuria joined Party of National Unity known as PNU as a Director of Programs and Spokesperson and later joined Jubilee party as officer of strategy until he was elected as Gatundu Member of Parliament.
About his family, Hon. Moses Kuria is married to Joyce Njambi whom they meet in Saudi Arabia and are blessed with two children. The first born was born in Saudi Arabia while the second born in Dubai.
