Despite having a diploma and six degrees, Dr. Savai could not secure formal employment in Kenya. His academic credentials include a Law degree, a Diploma in Theology, two Bachelor of Education degrees, one in Arts, and another in Science.
He had 6 degrees to his name. His Ph.D. thesis was on a comparative education case study in Kenya and Greece.
When he returned to Kenya, he did not secure employment and ventured into politics.
In 1997, Dr. Savai contested for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat and lost to ODM leader Raila Odinga, who was then leader of the National Development Party.
Dr. Savai was not employed anywhere in Kenya and lived in abject poverty, he lived in Kibera slums and died poor in western Kenya. Who are we to blame here?
His attempts to run for the presidency in 1997 and 2002 were thwarted by the electoral commission, he was not cleared by ECK because of lack of enough materials, I think he lacked money?
