The Commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr. Nancy Macharia as the serving Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is also responsible with teachers' code of ethics.
For this reason, TSC ordered teachers to declare their wealth as legally acquired and owned. This has been received as bad news especially to heads of institutions who in one way or another received property illegally.
Following the recent updates, TSC has gone ahead to provide an online procedure for teachers to declare their wealth without any struggle.
On a light note however, the declaration of wealth will only affect teachers employed by Teachers Service Commission (TSC) alone.
This comes few weeks after teachers were also asked to attend to Refresher courses in a bid to improve their skills in handling Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) learners.
