A rare occurrence happened yesterday in Nakuru hospital. This was after a TSC official confronted a teacher in hospital with a transfer letter. As TSC was ongoing and the the purge of those teachers against their policies. They are transferring then to far areas to separate them from meetings. They are also threatening them of dire consequences incase they go on with the same mission. The teachers were planning to have a peaceful demonstration to oppose the scheme and other policies introduced by the commission
The Commission is trying to ensure that whoever opposed to the AON medical scheme and TPD modules is dealt with accordingly. This comes after alot of teachers have also been transferred. Martha Omollo who was transferred to tranzoia County reported yesterday.
TSC has a mandate to transfer a teacher to any county and any school in the country. This gives them a leeway to transfer and neatralize those who want to oppose it.
We wish all teachers the best.
