Education: Ten Boys Sit for KCSE at a Police Station after Storming Into a Girls' Dorm

Ten students of Anestar Bahati Boys' Secondary School in Nakuru County sat for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations(KCSE) in a police station after they were arrested on Thursday night for sneaking into the nearby girls' dormitory at the Anestar Precious Girls' Secondary School.

The Nakuru county commissioner, Erastus Mbui has said that the real motive of the schoolboys has not been known yet and that there were more than ten boys but some managed to escape in the darkness. The DCI said that the boys were almost to overcome the police but the police used tear gas which dispersed the notorious young men.

Netizens have reacted to this act on the social media space. Mpendwa_waloise wrote, "CS Magoha needs to consult other stakeholders in the education sector and establish a mechanism yo address adolescence and peer pressure in schools other than sending police to arrest the kids and take them to courts."
