Huge Blow to Centre Managers, Supervisors And Invigilators As CS Machogu Issues This Warning

Today is a D-day for million of learners in the country. This is the day that national examinations have started. Atleast 2.5 Million learners are sitting for KCPE and KPSEA. This is a historical time in the country as first cohort of CBC learners are also sitting for grade six examination. Class eight candidates are sitting for KCPE at a time country is looking forward to fully transition to CBC.

Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu has already indicated that no case of irregularity will be tolerated. Today, Ezekiel Machogu is leading top government officials to oversee the exercise.

It is now big blow to Centre Managers, Supervisors and Invigilators as Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has issue a stern warning to them saying they will be accountable incase of any cheating. Speaking today while overseeing distribution of national examinations, Machogu said ministry have put in place necessary measures to cub examination cheating.

"We have been able to out necessary measures in place and I can assure you there will be no cheating. This time round we have personal accountability at individual level from centre manager to Invigilators," he said.
