Orange Democratic Movement party leader Baba Raila Amollo Odinga has today taken his campaigns to Mount Kenya East in Meru county. The political supremo has today visited Maua, Lare and Meru university of science and technology with hundreds of political leaders allied to him.
The higher education loans board established under the 2010 constitution provides refundable loans to students in higher institutions of learning which are supposed to be paid after elapse of the course's duration.
Raila while in Meru university of science and technology has promised to ensure that once he ascends to power he will ensure that the higher education loans board loans will be a grant. This promise comes at a time of need where university and other institions of learning students are facing difficulty in repaying the loan which keeps accumulating interent on a monthly basis.
