The Building Bridges Initiative otherwise referred to as BBI is an initiative that came to limelight after the now famous handshake between incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga in 2018. The Building Bridges Initiative was ruled to be unconstitutional by the High Court Of Kenya, a ruling that was upheld by the Court Of Appeal prompting the promoters of the initiative to go to the Supreme Court.
But political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has rubbished off the ongoing Building Bridges Initiative hearing at the Supreme Court Of Kenya. According to Mutahi Ngunyi, he said that the Building Bridges Initiative appeal sounds like a high school debate club with war of words, cleverness and failed poetry. He also said that the country has moved on.
"Why does this #BBIAppeal SOUND like a high school DEBATE CLUB - a War of WORDS, cleverness and FAILED Poetry? The country has MOVED on!!!"
