Back To School:High Fuel Price Delays Schools Opening

The high cost price has finally affected school opening. The Goverment efforts to reduce the price seemed to have failed. Last week Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga had promised that the price of fuel related products was to go down but this was never the case.

A report by KTN News have established that today while students were reporting back to school, high fare was being charged to the students due to the increase in the price of petrol.

This has even made some parents to complain. Due to high price, it has even led to delays as parents wait for a more and cheaper way for their parents to go back to school.

Schools have officially opened today after 10 days of holiday and are now set to begin term that will last for 11 weeks. Schools will close Term Two on 23rd December of 2021 before beginning new term in January.
