
Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu announced the placement of student's who sat for the 2022 KCPE earlier today into different secondary school's. Parent's are required to send the name of the student to 22263 or check the website at www.education.go.ke . Every student has been placed into a secondary school, the government has also announced. This is in line with the 100% transition ministry guideline's.
Also, Kabianga Boya High school was the most sought after as it topped with 153, 078 form one applications. It however has only 768 slot's while Nanyuki High school came second with 148, 827 applications. The school has 576 slot's. Nyandarua High school came third with 137, 511 applications against a capacity of 240 slots.
The government also revealed plans to continue paying some amount in the fees for secondary schools.Also, Junior High schools students will wear a different uniform from the one they used in grade six.
