Meet Youngest Senator in Kenya Who was the First Female Vice President of a University

As per the source, Esther Anyieni Okenyuri played the role of developing concept papers that supported the implementation of technical and vocational and training institutions in all sub-counties in Kenya.

Esther, who was born in Bomachoge Borabu is a beauty with brains. She studied at Kenya High School and later joined Maasai Mara university. Her leadership skills saw her serve as the first female Vice President of the student organization of the aforementioned university.

She is not only the founder of a campaign movement duped 'Women for Ruto' but also the founder of Kisii Youth Alliance. She was part of Ruto's campaign team who mostly represented the interests of the youths in the Western-Nyanza region.

She was unsuccessfully nominated to the Kisii county assembly in 2017 but as of now, her nomination went through in the Senate, making her the youngest senator in the country.
