LGBTQIA+ has been a raging debate among many people not only in the country but also abroad. A missionary School called Urban Christianity Academy has suffered a major blow after reports went out alleging that it was allowing LGBTQ.
The reports were linked to a statement made by the school in which it stated that it was celebrating, recognizing and supporting the holiness of LGBTQIA+ community.
The statement was not welcomed considering the fact that Christianity does not accept it. The statement led to various accusations including the accusation that the school was allowing students of the same gender to get into relationships.
The school lost some sponsors and it started suffering from shortage of funds. The school heads now says that the school will have to be closed because of the losses it has incurred.
Some of the students of that school also opposed the school statement on LGBTQ matters saying that it ought to uphold Christianity because it is a missionary School.
