Kilimanjaro Dormitory at Samitsi boys in Malava Subcounty, Kakamega county has been razed down, the Incident occurred around 7:50am shortly after students left the dormitory for assembly missing death by minutes.
The school principal Mr Dan Masitsa suspected that the fire might have been set up by a student, the fire has since left 100 form 1 and 2 students helpless.
Mr. Kiprais, However said, School program will continue as normal indicating that the stake holders will meet to see on how the affected students will be catered for.

Area MCA who doubles as the Deputy speaker in the Kakamega County Assembly Leonard Kasaya urged the students to concentrate on matters Education and desist from distractors that can affect their Education Journey; present also was nominated MCA Mildred Walubengo.
No student was hurt during the fire incident, Police have then launched investigations to bring the culprit to book
