Top Kenyan Female Lawyers And The Schools They Attended.

Law in Kenya is one of the most sought after and prestigious specialty.The profession has produced top and competent lawyers who mostly venture into the political field.Women’s progress in the law is both a standard bearer and an emblem of progress in many cultures.

In this article lists a number of women who are pioneers in the field of law, their educational background and the secondary schools that molded them to become the women they are today.

1.Chief Justice Martha Koome.

Cj Koom went to Mugoiri girls High School in Muranga county.She later qualified to pursue a Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of Nairobi.After graduating from University of Nairobi in 1986, Koome enrolled at Kenya School of Law the next year.

2.Martha Karua.

She attended Mugumo primary school, Kabare Girls Boarding School, St Michael’s boarding school Keruguya. She later joined Kiburia Girls Secondary School, Ngiriambu Girl’s secondary school, and Karoti Girl’s secondary.She later studied law at the university of nairobi from 1977 to 1980.

3.Alice Wahome.

She attended Karumu primary school and Siakago High School for her secondary studies.Wahome later attended the University of Nairobi, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws degree in law. 

4.Susan kihika.

Susan attended Busara Forest View Academy in Nyahururuand Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls High School in Nyeri.She later graduated with a Doctor degree from the Law School of Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas.

5.Dr Nancy baraza.

She attended Lugulu girls High school in Bungoma.She later moved to the university of nairobi where she earned Doctors of Law PhD.
