Here Is What Will Happen To Those Candidates Whose Knec Results Were Withheld By Knec

The form four Knec results were released on Saturday and some candidates from different schools did not get their results as what was termed as exam irregularities. One school was Oriwo boys school and the other one is Dibuoro school in Siaya.

According to magoha the schools had irregularities during the exam which made them retain their results to do some investigations before giving them the way forward that's after one month or 30 days. After that they will know whether to repeat the exam or to get the results of the examination that they did first.

Like the Dibuoro school they have applead with Knec to allow them to sit for the exam after 30 days. Siaya County Education Director Sifuna speaking with Nation through the phone he said that they are going to repeat the exam after one month.

“They will re-sit exams in order to get the results because of what transpired at the time the KCSE exam was being administered,” Mr Sifuna said by phone.

In the case of Oriwa boys school in Rachuonyo North sub county, the school have to wait for one month that's up to May to know their fate. The investigation is going on to know the truth of the matter then they will be given a way forward.

"The results of all candidates at Oriwo Boys High School, centre code 41731303 have been withheld on suspicion that they may have engaged in examination irregularities during the conduct of the 2021 KCSE Examination," the letter read.

"This is done to allow for completion of investigations on the exercise of the powers under rule 8 and 9 of the Knec (handling of examination irregularities) rules of 2015 as read with the Kenya National Examinations Council Act number 29 of 2012," the letter said.
