Saumu Mbuvi, the first born daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has opened up on her little known humble background, of when she was still young.

This was via her recent post on her Instagram account, where she disclosed on her stories that she studied in a high school where they used to eat 'githeri' on a daily basis.
"Kama hujasomea shule inakula githeri Monday to Monday...wewe nyamaza tu (laughing emoji)" Saumu Mbuvi wrote.
Even though she never revealed the name of the school that she went to, the mother of two also disclosed that she spent sometime living in the village.
She also gushed over how she used to give village boys sleepless nights, because of how cute she looked despite the simple life.
"Ati sisi ndio tulikuwa tunapea vijana wa ushago pressure (laughing emojis), this life weh" she wrote.
Saumu Mbuvi revealed this as she took netizens down the memory lane via some throwback photos.

For those who know about Saumu Mbuvi, then they know that details of her life especially while still young are very scanty.
What is known out there is that Mike Sonko birthed her when he was still in high school. The flamboyant politician was infact in form four when he got her.
Saumu Mbuvi's real mother is called Janet Njeri, and she passed away about 15 years ago.
She currently however has a step mother by the moniker of Primrose Mbuvi, and she is the current wife of Mike Sonko.

What is also known however about Saumu Mbuvi's school life is when she was at the university.
She is infact an alumnus of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
The mother of two was infact at the Karen campus, and while at the institution she also served as the Vice President of the students union.
