The Kenya certificate of secondary education examinations for last year were not done because of unavoidable circumstances created by the outbreak of Covid-19 disease in the country and in the world at large.
It was a relief this year to the students who managed to sit for their national examinations despite the presence of Covid-19 disease. The students performed better thus outshining their predecessors by recoarding a signifiacant increase in overall performance, ascenario that elated us as a country in general.
The Kenya universities and colleges central placement service (kuccps) which is mandated to place students to higher institutions of learning, is set to release the 2021/2022 placements anytime sooner as the second revision window is slated for tomorrow.
Once the body will announce the placement results, the applicants will have to log into their accounts using their Kcse index numbers as username, Kcse year as 2020 and birth certificate entry number or Kcpe index number as password. At the portal, the institution in which one has been placed will be displayed there with the programme placed as shown below;

Kuccps will also send messages to applicants indicating the institutions they have been placed. To get the admission letters, the students will be required to follow instructions which will be sent to their numbers, those placed in Kuccps portal, directing them on how to access them.
