In Africa, there are a number of highly educated musicians boasting very good academic qualifications. In fact these musicians can secure good jobs a part from their normal music career. Majority of these musicians boasts masters degrees in different fields. Thus, below are the list of eight highly educated musicians in Africa.
1. Naeto C (Nigerian rapper)
Naeto C has bachelor's degree in Science in Biology which he pursued in SUNY Old Westbury University later in The George Washington University, USA. He proceeded and pursued masters in Energy studies in University of Dundee, Scotland.

He has bachelor's degree in Science from Salford University in Manchester, UK. He also pursued masters in the same institution.
4. 2 Face (Nigerian)
2 Face pursued National diploma course in Business Administration in Enugu. He later pursued masters in arts in music from Igbinedion university in Nigeria. Currently 2 Face is one of the accomplished and bankable artists in Africa.
5.Dr SID (Nigerian)
Dr Sid pursued degree in dental surgery in University of Ibadan, Nigeria. As a doctor, SID worked in several clinics and several hospitals in Nigeria.
6.DJ Cuppy (Nigerian)
She pursued degree in Business and economics and later proceeded to do masters in Music Business in New York University, USA.
7. Jidenna (Nigerian)
Jidenna pursued degree in arts in Stanford university after which he worked as a full time teacher before before becoming musician.
8. Bobi Wine (Ugandan)
Bobi studied at Makerere University where he graduated with bachelor's degree in arts. His also alleged to have enrolled on leadership course in Harvard Kennedy School of government.
