Joy as Mother of Six, Wife to Police Officer Scores B minus in the KCSE Exams, Her Daughter Scored B

Education CS George Magoha on Saturday released the results of the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national exams.

A total of 831,015 candidates sat for the the exams which were administered at 10,413 centres.

Ms Sabriya Ismail Ahmed, mother of six was among the students who performed well in the released KCSE exams.

She sat for her exams at Newlife Secondary School in Banisa Sub county in Mandera County where she managed to score a mean grade of B minus.

One of her children managed to score a mean grade of B plain.

She said “My daughter has managed a B plain but I am yet to know what my son has scored.”

Due to lack of school fees, Sabriya dropped out of school in form two due to lack of school fees. Months later she got married to a police officer.

She said that her husband has been supportive since she decided to go back to school.

Students had until April 1 to submit their choice of courses to the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service.
