The tough economic conditions in the country have affected many parents with Kenyans struggling to make a living during this difficult difficult period. The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused many Kenyans to lose their jobs with many companies forced to shut down as a result of the ravaging effects of the pandemic.

Earlier today students from Mwamgunga girls secondary school in Matuga in Kwale County have taken their cries to the streets after striking over the increased school fees.

The students have been causing chaos along the busy Kombani to Kwale road making the road impassable. The students want the school administration to review the new fee structure so that the parents can be able to afford the amount.

It now remains to be seen whether the school will listen to the student's pleas.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
