The body of a young school girl, Elizabeth, who Mysteriously died three weeks after getting sponsorship for her secondary education has finally been laid to rest in Othaya, Nyeri County.
According to sources, Elizabeth, a three-week form one student at Precious Blood Kagwe Girls took away her life while at school under circumstances that have not been made clear. The devastated parents reported that the school called them and despite having had no fare to foot their journey to the school, the school sent them fare to go. Upon arrival, they were taken into rounds before the school suddenly broke the sad news of the death of their daughter.
They called Ndungu Nyoro who is part of the Affecto foundation that sponsors poor but hardworking students who responded quickly and arrived at the school. They sought for more clarification From the school administrators how their daughters death came to happen but all was in vain. They were told she just commited suicide. To make the matters worse, they were also denied coming close to the deceased body.
Elizabeth early death shocked many and has since left many unaswered questions. May her soul rest in peace as we pray for families and Affecto foundation to get justice.
