Several days have passed since the opening of KUCCPS for application and revision of courses. However, students make mistakes which at the end land them into problems.
First, some students fail to complete the application process as they select courses and put them in 'course basket' and fail to apply for the courses selected courses.
Secondly, performing students only go for most competitive courses in top universities in the country such as University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University etc. In mo's cases, these universities have limited capacities to accommodate all students who apply for them. These kind of students submit one choice instead of four choices.
Thirdly, many students apply for wrong choices and get admitted for courses that are not in line with their dreams and careers This later on makes them to spend a better part of the first academic year transferring from institutions.
Moreover, majority of the students often select the University of Nairobi and pose a challenge to the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) during the placement process which makes them to be placed in other universities.
Students should avoid all these so as to land themselves in best universities.
Kindly share this article as it may benefit another person who is yet to apply for a career choice.
