The governor's son graduated with first-class honors in Economics.
From photos that surfaced social media, it was evident that confidence was oozing out of the impassioned graduate.
The delighted Ian walted to his social media with a revelation that he had acquired a first-class honours.
"I’m a happy man today because God my Heavenly Father has blessed the work of my hand. I have made my dad Wycliffe Oparanya and My Mum Tabitha Ambetsa proud parents. I have made my family and friends proud," he conveyed.
He further channeled 'thank you's' to his Facebook followers, citing them as one of his biggest motivators.
"Thank you so much for your motivating comments and once again Thank you God for this first class honours," he added.
This came after Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko's daughter, Janetta Nyamu, graduated from Daystar University with a Business diploma. She, too, went ahead to frame a heartwarming message to her parents acknowledging their effort and support in her education.
"Today I graduate from one of the best Christian university in East Africa and I lack ways to show my gratitude for all that you have done for me," the wrote.
