Kuccps have released the results of the 2020 KCSE candidates on Tuesday, 17 August. Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. Magoha together with KUCCPS CEO Agnes Wahome have send good news to the candidates who were waiting for their results after the continuous application.
All the placed students will be able to check their placement status by sending an SMS with their Index Numbers to 20842. The results will also be posted on the Student’s Portals.
After logging in your students portal, you will see a box with the following words; congratulations, following University you have been placed then finally the course you will pursue.
Agnes Wahome has stated that preparations for the Placement Cycle began in January 2021 following the registration of the 2020 KCSE candidates. KUCCPS mobilised 157,658 to apply for courses through their schools or examination centres.
Prof. Magoha has noted some improvement compared with the 2019 placement.
" This years’ placement to TVET institutions represented a 54.5% increase from 2019, when we placed 88,724. However, TVET enrolment still remains low despite the Government’s efforts," Magoha has said.
