Jalang'o has recently graduated in Daystar University. While speaking to Mc Jesse, he said that after he had done his primary exams and had a Maseno School calling letter, his father was a very happy man. But he was able to join the school due to lack of school fees. They were able to raise the school fees and when they arrived in the school, they were told that it was too late. It was two months after the date of admission. 'I have never seen my dad cry', Jalang'o says. After they had missed that vacancy Jalango's father was so heartbroken that he started crying. He had to settle for another school. Jalang'o wanted to join college but was not able to. He nearly fell into depression. He decided to do some odd jobs since he was not able further his studies. He eventually joined university and has graduated.
