Following the 2021 KCPE examination that was well performed countrywide, many students were lucky to secure a chance in renown national and extra county schools. This however, is not good news to some prospect students from needy families, as their families are not in a position to raise the required fees.
Lately, a girl from a humble background in Koiche village ,Rosogal location in Mogotio Sub county Baringo county joined the list of the needy students whose dream to join highschool is on the dim end of a tunnel. She did merit to join Sironga high school after scoring 379 marks, a dream she sees slipping away.The surfaced post of the young ambitious girl met the hands of well wishers who came in to salvage her capsizing dream. One particular member of parliament for Embakasi East, warmed the hearts of many from his generous offer of ten thousand shillings to help raise her fees. This is despite of him being from a different constitution and still he stretched a helping hand , to a girl from Baringo a county in the North rift that is DP Ruto's delineated stronghold.Babu's philanthropic gesture was followed by another generous offer from Mogotio constituency UDA nominee Reuben Kiborek who promised to settle the girl's case.
