1.2 million candidates who sat for the 2022 KCPE examination will know their results today after President William Ruto jetted back to the country following his long trip.
The results will be released by the new Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, being the first results released during Kenya Kwanza regime.
According to sources, Mochogu will first present the results to President William Ruto before making them public. He will reportedly announce them from the new Knec house which took decades to complete.
According to the source, the education ministry officials disclosed that they were told to be on stand-by as they could be given a very short notice to avail themselves for the release of the results.
The Ministry already prepared the results early enough only that they could not be released in the absence of president William Ruto. This will be the second last result of the 8-4-4 system which is being replaced by CBC.
