School Bursar In Kitui Nursing Injuries After Being Stabbed By A Police Officer Over School Fees

A school Bursar in Mwingi boys secondary school in Kitui county is nursing knife injuries after he was stabbed with a knife, by a police officer who was demanding a refund of school fees. The school bursar by the name Alex Mwanzia was confronted by the police officer while in school.

The police officer demanded a refund of extra school fees which his son had been awarded by constituency development fund. The bursar informed the police officer that, the money can only be transferred to his son's college fees account.

It is at this point when chaos erupted with the police officer demanding cash refund. He stabbed the school bursar near the shoulder. Confirming the incident Mwingi central OCPD peter Mutuma said the police officer in question, who is their colleague was arrested after stabbing the school bursar in a row.

The school bursar was taken to a local medical facility waiting, to record a statement concerning the incident.
