Photo of learners in a construction site checking out the house plan and dressed like engineers as part of Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) that was shared on Facebook, has made Netizens online to elicit reactions. CBC is a curriculum that is really interesting and parents are starting to love it quickly. The curriculum involves more of pratical work than theories.
This photo shared on Builders and Co-Creators Facebook group, showed 4 learners dressed like engineers, managers, foremen, general labourers and technology operators. Also they had yellow and blue colours helmet on their head.
Yellow helmet colour is commonly worn by general labourers or earth moving operators while blue is for electricians and other technical operators. Also they had protective clothes on like the apron and it's main function is for easier visibility while in the site. Construction men could be seen in the picture and this shows it's an ongoing construction.
This kids have learn a lot about construction at such a younger age. By exposing the learners while they are young to such activities, they may develop interest in engineering and we will have amazing engineers in the future. This is all thanks to CBC.
I think next time they should be given fitting clothes like the reflector. Here are some of the mixed reactions from Netizens.
