Uhuru Appoints Jamleck Muturi New Teachers Service Commission Chairman for 6 Years

Jamleck Muturi will succeed Lydia Nzomo who chaired the Teachers Service Commission for six years until November 2020.

Until his appointment, he was the Embu County member committee in charge of Education.

Today, the president signed the papers of which his work will start as soon as possible. Lydia Nzomo had stayed for her term well and many people thought that she will stay because of her trustworthy, her honesty in the work and she socialised with many people in her work.

The national Assembly on wednesday, April 28, approved the nomination of both Oyucho and Muturi who will serve in the next six years.

Muturi is well-known as a humble person and the National Assembly knew that Muturi will serve his term with a lot of power and honesty.

While exiting the office, Nzomo recommended recruitment of more teachers to address understaffing in most public learning institutions.

We are hopping for the best in Muturi as he serves his term as a new Techers Service Commission for six years. Stay tuned for more news. Thank you.
