The 15th day of July marked a monumental day as Graduates in Pwanu University walked around in gowns celebrating their hard work and persistence through their academics. The academic institution in coastal Kenya is located 60km north of Mombasa county. It is one among a few universities which are located in the coastal region of Kenya. It should be known that it is one of the universities which is just a stone throw away from the great Indian Ocean. Many students consider it a privilege to study at the University.
Today, many were delighted to see their dream come true as the Institution marked its 8th graduation. The university under the management of the vice-chancellor Rajab invited all graduands, students, staff alumni, parents and members of the public to the ceremony which took place on the university premises.
This year's ceremony was one of a kind as it was a virtual event. It was streamed on KTN Home t.v station, Facebook, Twitter as well as youtube. Furthermore, the School went ahead and gave additional information as all masters students, as well as bachelors graduates, were required to attend virtually. Only doctoral degree graduands were required to physically attend the ceremony but also under the strict ministry of health protocols for prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
All we can say is bravado to all the graduates as we wish them success in their life to come.
