Preliminary reports indicate that the fire broke out minutes past 9 am on Saturday, August 20, with the cause of the fire yet to be established.
It was reported that the majority of the buildings affected were classrooms, with nearly five engulfed in fire.
The police and firefighters are currently at the institution as they try to contain the fire.
Additionally, emergency service providers from the Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) were deployed to assist the county firefighters to salvage the situation.
No injuries or casualties have been reported from the morning fire incident.
As a precaution, the students were asked to remove their personal belongings from the dormitories as the administrators feared that the fire would spread to other neighbouring buildings.
The fire incident comes two days after schools reopened following a two-week election break.
Schools had been closed for the August 9 polls and reopened on Thursday, August 18 for the continuation of the second term.
