Today the KANU party chief graced the official opening of the eleventh Kabarak university international research conference. The opening ceremony took place at the main Kabarak campus in Nakuru county. The senator was accompanied by ICT cabinet secretary Hon. Joe Mucheru.

Senator Gideon Moi is the chancellor of the Kabarak university. He has officiated various events in the university. This prestigious position was initially held by his late father the second president of Kenya Mzee Daniel Moi. Senator Gideon Moi also serves as ICT chairman at senate ICT committee.
