The education progress in the country, Kenya is experiencing difficulties in its operations. This is due to the return of corona virus for its wave two. This time round, the situation seems to be more severe after it got reported that corona virus is now in schools. Already the whole principal of the high school breathed his last in matters related to corona virus infections. There is a big worry for the safety of school learners currently at school as it is compromised.
The ministry of education, through principal secretary, Belio Kipsang gave an update in regards to school closure. This happened barely a day after a terrifying report revealed that 10 students from Maranda high school tested positive of corona virus. Although many had in their perception that the schools will be compelled to close due to the horrible corona cases in schools, Belio Kipsang made a firm stand that there is no possible likelihood of closing schools that are currently in operation.
"PS Belio Kipsang: the Ministry of Education will not close schools for students who have already resumed learning. "
The above statement from PS Belio adds weight to what CS Magoha said that schools won't see any closure. There is no reason that can lead to closure of schools, CS Magoha said.
