Few weeks ago, while announcing the 2021 KCSE results, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha said a “very big school” have suffered withholding of results and added that an investigation was being conducted.

The result were withheld, pending probe on suspected commission of irregularities

548 candidates who sat for the exams at Oriwo Boys High school in Rachuonyo North Sub County, Homa Bay County suffered a blow after their results were withheld.

Candidates who sent messages to the Kenya National Examinations Council portal to check their results received an error message.

A happy mood prevailed at the school after the KCSE results were finally received at the institution.

This comes after KNEC chief executive officer Dr. David Njengere said that the council shall communicate the outcome of the investigations within thirty days.

Oriwo Boys has been one of the top performing schools in the national exam.

It has a history of producing top candidates nationally and this has put it on the national map.
