Tony Otieno Ojowi a selected student for admission at Taranganya high school surprised students, teachers and parents when he showed up to school for his form one admission exercise with nothing but academic documents.
The young man who looked tired and exhausted walked 55km to school to begin a life that he not only believes in but trust that will change his humble situation. armed with a brown envelope and a facemask Tony decided to face his problems with fifty shillings and a heart full of hope.
He went straight to the principals office to seek help and support for his only hope was the school he has been selected to join. He is from a humble background and there's an appeal to well-wishers to help him begin his studies.
Tony is from Uriri constituency and his father is incapacitated, He asked the principal for a school weiver to enable him begin his studies at the school for he could not even afford to buy the books and shopping for his upkeep.
