Ministry of Education developed a new schools calendar to cater for the time the student lost during the covid-19 pandemic. According to the dates listed on this new schools calendar, The first term of 2021 was scheduled to start on 26th July 2021 and end on October 1, 2021.
All learners will be required to break for the midterm break on August 26, 2021, and will be expected to resume learning on August 29, 2021. The holiday breaks are arguably the most exciting part of the school year for students and staff alike. Allowing students a break from the unrelenting stress of school can have many positive effects. That is why the Ministry of Education prepares the calendar to plan and guide educational activities across the country.Term two and three are scheduled to start on November 11, 2021, and January 3, 2022, respectively. Learners will be required to be at school for ten weeks in the first and second terms only.
