Low turnout of junior secondary students reporting has been headache to the ministry of education as per last week it was below 90% turnout.
Here comes a good news as the education CS Ezekiel Machogi says that currently the turnout of junior secondary students reporting has reached 91%.
"The reporting of junior secondary students has reached 91 percent, I continue to urge chiefs to continue assisting us to make sure that the turnout reaches 100 percent," said Machogi
The CS also said, that there is enough finance to support the education system and the ministry has negotiate with world Bank to have some finance which will aid in building 80 laboratories.
" We are make necessary effort to have fund to assist in driving the operation of education, we have talk with the world Bank and we are expecting funds to aid in building of 80 laboratories," said Ezekiel Machogi
The CS also promised that funds for secondary schools will the out soon.
We hope that the ministry of education will achieve its expectations of having 100 percent turnout of junior secondary students to join school.
Chiefs, local authorities and parents are requested to help the aid of this operation to succeed
