School Principals Opposes CS George Magoha's Secondary School Fees Reduction.

The Kenyan secondary school principal's through their union, Kenya Secondary School Heads Association(KESSHA), has opposed the reduction of school fees by the CS George Magoha. This was a statement passed unions chairman Indimuli Kahi on Thursday while speaking to the Star Newspaper.

In the new fees by CS George Magoha, the national schools will pay 45, 054 ksh while extra County schools will pay 35,035 Ksh and the new fees were to take effect when the new academic year begins next week.

Kahi argued that the school calendar days have reduced but there's not much that have changed as the operating costs will remain the same.

He even argued that the government should cushions schools that will be faced with deficits.

On the other hand, the Kenya Parents Association chairman Nicholas Maiyo called on the Government to take action against school heads who will not adhere to the new school fees guidelines.
