On March 18, 2022 the Ministry of Education officially published the results of the 2021 Kenya certificate of elementary education candidates with the first one receiving 428 marks.
The ministry of education through CS Magoha has confirmed that class eight graduates of 2021 will know their secondary school that they will join on the 11th or 12th this month as reported by the standard, as primary and secondary schools prepare to resume with term one on the 25th of this month and admission of form one to begin on the 1st of May.As candidates, parents, and guardians await that day, CS Magoha told parents and candidates on April 6, 2022 at Kenya High School in Nairobi that the selection process will favor all candidates across the country.
However, CS Magoha confirmed that the ministry will give preference to select schools, such as Mararal in Samburu County, whose candidates scored well enough to be admitted to Kenya High School, and another from the Kiandutu slums in Thika or Kibera slums to be admitted to national schools.Do you think the minister of education's act favoring specific schools as validated by CS is a good idea?
