Sad news to the fraternity of Kisii University as another student dies suddenly. This has occurred when the students in various universities now have reported back to their respective higher learning institutions, especially those who are set to sit for their final exams. Actually the students were forced to go home after the President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta suspended the physical learning in various learning institutions as a result of the increase of the Covid 19 Pandemic which was experienced in this country on April and most of the students went home before tackling their final exams. However the ministry of education has been going through difficult times whereby a number of both tutors and students have succumbed to death as a result of Covid, others through road accidents and others through other diseases.
Sadly another student from Kisii University has passed away after he was involved in a road accident. The student who was identified as Bethwell was involved on a road accident while riding a motorbike shortly after he reported back to the University . The student was taking Bachelors Of Science in Mathematics and Computing, therefore the students had reported back to school with the aim of tackling his final exams.
We send our heartfelt condolences to the fraternity of Kisii University and the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace.
