The Presiding Officer at one of the streams in Old Kibra Primary School lost the form 34 As that are used to recordsm the Presidential results.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC officials at the constituency tallying centre in Upper Hill secondary school were then forced to open the ballot boxes and did a recount of all the votes in the presence of party agents.
However, the form 34A was already uploaded to the IEBC forms portal and no difference in the election results is expected.
The form 34A includes details about the votes each candidate received, the total number of registered voters in the polling station, and the rejected, protested, disputed and valid votes.
The form 34A is also always signed by the agent's of various Presidential candidates.
