3 Ways of Checking your KCSE Results after Official Announcement

The 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results are set to be announced in the course of this week as reported by Minister for education Prof. George Magoha. After the results have been officially announced, then you can check your performance using the three methods below;

1. SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE (SMS)

You can check your results by sending an SMS with your full index number to 20076 for Safaricom, Airtel and Telcom networks. This method will charge you Ksh.25 airtime and the feedback may take a few minutes to arrive due to the large number of request being made at that particular time.

2. KNEC PORTAL

You can also visit KNEC school's portal https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/

To login to the portal, insert the user name and password which you used during KCSE registration.

Once logged in, you will see several boxes. Under the box labelled "FROM INDEX", input the index number of the first candidate and in the box labelled "TO INDEX", input the last candidate's index number. Click on "View report".

When all slips are loaded, click on the menu labelled "REPORT". KCSE results slips will be downloaded to your phone or computer.

3. VISITING YOUR SCHOOL

You can also get your results by visiting your respective school after they have been published.

Thank you for your time and welcome back in the next article.
