Due to the unemployment among our Kenyan youths. We have decided to change our school curriculum to make it adapt to this dire situation and also make it relevant in today's world. However , as we try to do this ,we need to make sure it is done in the right way and in the right manner.
While the curriculum has tried to emphasize on creativity and especially on acceptance of manual work. They seem to have shunned some other aspects of our modern society. You know ,we live in an information and technology era.And from what I have seen this curriculum is underrating it.
Many of us if not all, we went to learn computer packages after finishing highschool. What a shame! This are things we should have learned either in highschool or even in primary school.
In this curriculum ,I would recommend that those responsible to emphasize on computer education. Let teach our children how to code at an early age. What many of you don't know is that we can use computers in almost each aspects of our daily lives. And technology is the only way we will be able to create more jobs, advance our health, have good business . And all in all have better lives.
As I finish this post. Do you what artificial intelligence is? What about machine learning?I hope you know about robotics. And you don't know then you need to follow me for more content like this also if you know follow and comment and tell me about your thoughts on the issue.
