Students Of (KMTC) Murang'a Country On The Streets Raising Money To Pay Fees For One Of Them [I/C].
According to news from the Murang'a newspaper facebook page account, medical students belonging to (KMTC) Murang'a county have taken it to the streets to raise up money for one of the students who has not been able to pay school fees and is meant to sit for the end examinations. Their colleague who has an outstanding balance of 116,000 which she is supposed to clear in full. They have however managed to sum up over 70,000 from residents and are optimistic that they will be able to raise the whole amount by today.
This act of kindness has really touched the residents who live nearby saying that this is what should happen to students and not the common rioting always seen every now and then. They have also appealed to the government to help in such situations especially at this time when parents are finding it hard to pay for their children due to the ongoing economic hard times.
