Moi university is one of the public universities in the country Kenya which offers to the student different career trainings in various faculties.
Following the Monday October 25 Protests which erupted in this institution after lecturers took to the streets to make their public grievances, learning faced a big blow for all the students as they athear to this request.
A unionist lamented to one of the media that the teaching staff had not been paid for the last three months while the school's farm workers were yet to receive their 13 months salary.
The students from this university are now at a dillema if they will continue with their studies soon as the lecturers called on the government to listen to their plight, failure to which they would not go back to class.
"We are here today because we want to get justice. As it is, the donkey is tired (sic). Enough is enough," one of the unionist stated.
The tutors demanded University Vice Chancellor Isaac Kosgey's audience, saying that he ought to explain why they had not been paid.
